Ria Formosa Natural Park

Officially established in 1987 the Ria Formosa Natural Park extends 60km along the Algarve coast with a wide variety of ecosystems playing host to a range of animal life, including many bird species. There are three 1 hour nature trails you can follow, including the Quinta do Lago nature trail where you might spot a rare bird in hiding!
